Are you saying it should be first, so that people know right away that it isn’t a proven fact? So, the headline should read- “Report-VW’s Diesel Cheating Began With Cost Cutting”

Huh, never realized that’s how they worked. Very cool.
I’d just like to have a way to watch the video at close to full screen size and also be able to post in the chat at the same time. It shouldn’t be too difficult to be able to pop the chat into it’s own window the same way you can with the video player.
Fuck Scott Walker with a pointy stick.
There is an all new Passat coming in 2018.
It’ll be hitting dealer lots in the middle of 2016, actually. So he’ll have to wait a little longer than a month, but it’ll be here soon.
How about all the car salespeople that suddenly can’t sell half the cars on the lot? Especially at a midwest dealership that probably deals in about 50% TDIs? Give me a month and I’ll tell you.
No love for turbo cars?
That’s what I don’t understand. Didn’t police in New York go after that Afroduck character after he released his video run around Manhattan? That excuse just sounds like a cop-out because they don’t want to get involved.
Volvo S60 R- 296 hp/300 lb-ft and AWD. It’s a 2015 Golf R for a fraction of the price, and a classic Volvo styling that will look good forever. And with a buy it now of only $9500, you have plenty left over for some new wheels or other cosmetic reconditioning to get this thing standing tall in no time.
Nope. I have an unusual love with brown leather interiors on cars. This one is a little darker/more grayish than I prefer, but it’s clearly the best option.
Understated, I know, but this is the best I could come up with since they don’t have a green option. It has all the goodies though- Carrera S, Sport Package, LED headlights, PDCC, and the ever important fire extinguisher. Final cost- $129,500.
It actually looks pretty mean in person, at least from the front. I was surprised.
I’ve never really thought about that before, but it’s an interesting idea. A few track oriented versions in the vein of the Boss 302 or 350R would have been really cool.
Really digging that silver/black/yellow paint scheme. It’s just uncommon enough to really catch your eye, but looks great.
Somewhere in between I believe, but I’m pretty sure this guy has the wagon version, which obviously makes it all the more awesome. IIRC, he picked it up so that he can do both track and family stuff with it.
How timely. I’m going to see these guys in concert tonight. I’m interested to see how it will be.
The real question- have they fixed that annoying animation when you’re on the in-car view? The one where the driver will always reach down and shift gears, even if the car you’re in would clearly have flappy paddles instead? It’s nitpicky I know, but that always takes me out of the experience when I see it.
I love the old Rusty Wallace #2 MGD car.
That is a thing of beauty.
