I never used to have nightmares of any sort, until I found myself watching a tornado as it descended in the field next to my car as I drove down the interstate. Ever since then I have dreams where I’m out in the middle of nowhere, either walking, biking, or in my car, and I have to try and find shelter in the face of…
Jaguar has one of the best design teams in the business right now. I double-take at pretty much every model from their last two generations that I see.
I was really not looking forward to making a “why would you ever sell it?!!?!” post. Glad I don’t have to! That wheel and suspension setup you are running is nails. Nice work.
I actually work at a Chrysler/VW dealership, so we used to love it. “Oh, this T&C is too much money? Here let me show you the exact same car for $6,000 less because they have insane rebates on them (because they would never sell otherwise).” Easy deal every time.
It makes a lot of sense actually. It lets them get into the small truck market, but doesn’t bring up any thoughts of the old Dakota, which wasn’t great towards the end. Plus, everyone knows Jeeps are the only thing keeping FCA running at the moment, so why not capitalize on it?
Chrysler has been doing the same thing with the Town and Country for years.
But we didn’t rank ourselves at #6, it was just a poll to decide who we wanted deadspin to cover this year, and obviously I want to see stories about my favorite team. There’s a reason Wisconsin travels well no matter where they play- we just have a lot of loyal fans all over the place. I, and I’m sure a bunch of…
I wasn’t sure it was him at first, but that voice is so distinctive.
You’ll be able to buy the taken king, the original game, and the other two expansions all for $60, so might as well advertise it as a new game.
Everclear, Everlast, same thing, right?
Easy question is easy.
The only VWs in the US that get the DSG are the diesels (excluding the Touareg) and the sporty models- GTI, GLI, V6 Passat, CC (except AWD model), Golf R, Jetta Hybrid.
I’m a VW Salesperson and self described fanboy, but even I’ll tell you the Tiguan is not even remotely competitive in its segment. It has fewer tech options than its competitors, and costs more money. Any the fuel economy is terrible, as the author says.
Probably shouldn’t trust any 4-door GTIs either. I sure as hell beat the shit out of mine before I traded it.
Essentially unchanged from 2003-2012, except for some interior improvements. Terrible car in all four categories you mentioned.
You take that back. Every time I drive a Mk4 I find myself in a place of pure joy.
That’s why KBB really isn’t all that great of a resource for trade ins.
nice.
Does a new Hellcat model have to use the 6.2, or can it be a different motor that fits the same spirit in the car it goes into? Like, could they make a Dart Hellcat with a supercharged version of the 3.2 V6 in the Cherokee? Or put a supercharger or Hemi in the Wrangler like they’ve done for Moab in the past?
