It got to “good” in the middle seasons but Strange New Worlds is vastly better.

No, it never found its footing. It had a few moments of being OK before it felt like they just gave up.

Just fumbled around, really.

The later seasons had more promise but less delivery than the original seasons so if you weren’t able to stay on board early, just stick to Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks.

i found the 1st sesons to be ok, 2nd to be ish. and thne it got in my opntion worse and worse from a script point of view, just very lazzy writing, boring devlopment. and extremly moralizing and grandstanding not really deep philsiophy or ideals. contrast to new worlds which i find enjoyable, or lower decks. funny but

Ahhh GTFO. For us:

If a game has a mtx store that works perfectly but the game itself is riddled with more bugs than a planet on Helldivers, you know which priority the devs were assigned to work on the most.

Instructions unclear: OBVIOUSLY the problem is there weren’t enough microtransactions.

The lesson here: Don’t release broken games.

Don’t forget Soul Calibur. That’s pretty well-known outside the FGC. You also have Marvel vs Capcom which has a lot of mainstream awareness due to the strength of the Marvel brand.

Especially when Mortal Kombat has no business being on the list from a mechanics/gameplay standpoint. It’s only still here because of the gimmicks (blood/fatalities/guest characters)

Oh god. The dreaded Capcom Test (TM).

Stop trying to make “Church of Xbox” a thing

This seems like a whole lot of nothing on Twitter. Slow news day?

Oh yeah, you’re totally right on that one... It was insane for them to think a minimally remastered port (of a series that managed to stay niche in the middle of the birth of the modern FGC), was going to move any needles a decade later. They needed to do a actual launch/refresh of the brand like they did with SF4(+)

I’d kill for a new DS/VS, but I don’t expect we’ll ever see one again. Cap was pretty vocal when Resurrection came out that our response to that release would determine the fate of that franchise.... Ono very publicly said afterwards that it was clear this was just not a viable franchise for them anymore. As I

In an era where every new Resident Evil game makes bank and every new Jurassic World movie (no matter how awful) does the same, it feels truly insane that Capcom hasn’t been cranking out new Dino Crisis games by the boatload.

My only complaint here is that Viewtiful Joe is missing an that game was insanely good.

“Haha corporations are people, right to work, fire at will, no labor laws fuck you liberal”

Settle.  Bring her back.  Cara Dune is now trans.
