I don’t know where to leave this, so I’m just going to put it here. After Splinter got executed and Deadspin will no longer be Deadspin, I will be no longer be perusing the remaining sites. I’m a vote with my money kind of guy (I boycott all Nestle products and Jimmy John’s to name a couple).

He was supposed to take the safety.

I grew up watching wrestling in the 70's and 80's, but got away from it many years ago... decades. I’ve recently become interested again mostly because of AEW. It seems like the WWE product I would like would be NXT over the main brands. I don’t see why the had to bury Kingston to sell Brock and Velazquez when this

The Landry call was bullshit, but I don’t think it changed the outcome. If you are talking about the sideline catch by Metcalf, it happened outside of two minutes so a review could only happen on a challenge. The Browns had no timeouts and no challenges left. Even if they had it wouldn't have been changed. At best it

Scarlet Blight? Scarlet Fright? How many points would the Knights Who Say Ni be favored by over the Scarlet Knights?

I like Dead Snow, though it's more comedic. Shock Waves is a classic.

You missed this one, which may or may not have inspired Dead Snow:

I signed up for the free trial to watch Mandy. Once I was in, I decided to keep the subscription. There's a lot of older stuff I love to re-watch, some good original or exclusive content, and Joe Bob. The first episode of Creepshow delivered. I was excited to see what they would do with Gray Matter, and ended up

Disgusting. You have to do a chaser shot of pickle juice for that to be good.

You are not wrong. If this ends up taking down Trump AND tarnishing Uncle Joe, we all win.

Number 55 on the far right also seems to have some eye issues, and number 2 in the foreground looks like a cartoon.

Before Traction Park and Great Adventure, we had Bertrand’s Island in Northern NJ. The ancient wooden rollercoaster was terrifying, felt like it was going to shake apart at any minute. The log floom was great, it was sort of a haunted house tunnel ride and you could stop your boat inside and create a logjam. It closed

The first time I rode the Alpine Slide it was a concrete groove full of bumps and twists and turns. There was a cart with a joystick and a half assed brake. This was when Vernon Valley was a ski resort. They built the slide to have an attraction during the off season. It was also before they built the rest of Action

Was hoping for a prequel to the State Farm commercial where we find out the real reason the She Shed burned down and why the husband seemed horrified at the idea of it being rebuilt.

Can confirm. I had Micronauts somewhere in the 70's and never knew there were comics or storylines. It was just about building cool shit and having your little metal and plastic dudes operate it. I have zero nostalgia for any kind of movie tie in. Seeing that commercial was cool though.

Streets of Fire is fantastic. I still enjoy the occasional Michael Pare sighting. I recently watched Uwe Boll’s Postal (for some reason) and was excited to see him play a psycho pan handler.

Yup. We as teenagers had a jingle about it. Medical waste in your face, Jersey Shore nevermore. It was a problem then... on the East Coast and had zero to do with homelessness.

The Seahawks drafted Mirer to replace Dan McGwire, who was also a first round wash out. Those are a couple guys I wish I couldn't remember.
