Equally appropriate but (slightly) less dark is Evan Dorkin’s World’s Funnest, in which Mxy and Bat-Mite wipe out the entire multiverse (including the 5th Dimension and ours, which they find too creepy to handle) in their attempts to slay each other, then reboot the whole shebang once they’ve had their giggles.
