Reading that apology from Rihanna is a bit ironic now considering she was just in another controversy this past February over religious (Hinduism) cultural appropriation.

<see Costanza's post above>

I mean you’ll notice this comment section currently has 241 posts in it. No other article this week has anywhere near that many clicks so I guess it’s maybe a little bit ironic that Kotaku is rallying against this toxic gamer culture while simultaneously benefitting from it?

Technically, Munch was shown in Spiderman/Deadpool #6, so I guess Venom and X-Files and The Wire all take place in the same universe. How’s that for a connective thread?

If your haven’t finished Rebuild yet, you’re in for a treat.  I mean, Shinji still makes Claptrap look like Robert Downey Jr. but...  It’s great.

I mean Richard Belzer has pretty much made a career out of showing up on various shows (11 of them!!!) as Detective Munch.

I mean, Joe Louis might be an acceptable answer, seeing as his gigantic Black Power Fist is a Detroit hallmark and all, but it definitely ain’t Isiah.

The Babadook, Midsommer, The Witch, Hereditary... Jesus! Enough already! Horror element as psychological metaphor is almost as played out as found footage at this point.

Who are we to judge which marginalized groups are and are not worthy of working with? Seems to me like you want to throw out the baby with the bathwater? An argument could be made that “western feminism” (including feminism practiced by black Americans) does not represent “Muslim” or “LGBTQ” feminism and therefore

I still can’t get over the idea that Vern Schillinger is the Farmer’s insurance guy.

I agree. My only intent was to criticize what I construe as an unfair criticism in the above article that ‘White Feminism’ is trying to somehow impart unfair western ideals on Muslim women and that their religion and culture are different from ours and therefore off limits. It’s not imperialism to speak out about

Not having watched the first film but considering it does not include Spiderman in it how do they explain the fact that both Venom and Carnage are obviously modeled after Spiderman costumes? Is it addressed at all?

I would have to read the book to say definitively. Just seems like writing AGAINST a dozen times on the cover of your book in all cap block letters may not be the best tactic for bridge building? But that’s just my ignorant opinion on the subject.

For the record, Steve Yzerman is Detroit’s God , not Isiah Thomas.

So has progressive thought now moved past intersectionality? It seems like while the focus was once on building bridges between marginalized groups it now seems like the focus is moving towards proving that your specific identity is MORE marginalized than the other marginalized groups. Expect a book opposing this one

Would you tell Bob Ross to give up the ‘fro?!?

Does this show, which critics are calling mediocre at best, deserve three separate articles in one day?

New round of QAnon conspiracy theories in 3...2...1...

The Black Lives Matter movement is a political movement and does not directly focus on workplace discrimination. Personally, while I believe Home Depot should’ve allowed the employee to wear the initials on their uniform, I think it is a stretch to call it protected concerted activity.  Will be very interested to see
