1. Not every one switches new CPU at the same release. Some buy that CPU and skip the next, others do it the other way around. There is no lockstep all PC owner follow.

Why shouldn’t you be able to upgrade your CPU/Motherboard? Just switch them -> upgraded. Your CPU, RAM, Cooling, Case, Power Supply, and most important HardDrive stays the same.

A gaming PC isn’t as expensive as you think. Oh, and I have some money on the side right now, but that’s reserved for Fallout4. When Overwatch comes out, I may have similar money, but for another single player game.

That’s not how movie CGI works. Normally once a scene is rendered it’s done and they move on to the next. We’re talking here about top quality CGI. It takes stacks of server quality computers days if not weeks to render a single scene. A re-render of the whole movie is not done easily.

We always knew it was a multiplayer game, but only today did we learn it was not F2P like it’s quite usual for such games.

I think it’s the contrast between the real actors and the CGI that makes it stand out that much. One can only hope that the story and delivery is good enough to make you forget about the CGI.

Not really, you can upgrade most parts individually. It’s more or less a continuous process.

I’m not sure about the mod. You can really see the effort, but those welding points ... it’s because I welded myself way back, and, although I couldn’t do it better, they just don’t look great. Even if you consider that this is supposed to look aged and clunky.
