Look, son, if you can’t pay a living wage and make a profit, you suck at running a business, and don’t deserve the privilege of entrepreneurship.

If you can’t afford to pay a living wage, you don’t deserve the privilege of running a business.

I would never order a “rootie tootie fresh and fruity” if my life depended on it and starvation was the alternative 

I work for the city, in an agency where they are really concerned about corruption - because people did take payoffs in the past - so they send us a monthly email about all the people who got disciplined for things like that.

Except none of that is true (except for the part about the 47 states)

The original comment referred to “most waste collectors, private or municipal”

I was just pointing out the fact that, in at least one large jurisdiction (New York City) municipal sanitation workers could be, and are, disciplined for taking tips from the public 

I’m pretty sure the IRS would consider that a tip
