The wheels are perfectly cromulent, they look fine. Aftermarket radio; okay too, I’d be happier with better speakers (16 year old cones could use an upgrade). The rest (gauges, console, tint) can be fixed. BUT FLORIDA DEALER. The price is in line, how about the documentation fees, etc... I’d need a signed offer sheet

I was in a rhythm of looking for these about 15 years ago. Decent ones were $9500-$12K back then.

I have a black ‘06 R171 SLK280 6MT with similar mileage and is in waaay better shape cosmetically (and likely mechanically) that’s only worth $6-7k.

ND.

I was all in at first but trying to figure out what’s above the windshield outside, the inability to vacuum the interior or remove the flotsam behind the seats combined with more silicone on those seats than at a pornstar convention leads me to believe something is amiss.

I would pay $4,500 for a Crossfire. Just not this Crossfire. ND

1st thing to immediately stick out to me was this......

Eww.

I don’t think that’s a red flag. It’s a courtesy to let potential buyers know the most efficient way to communicate. Even professionally at work, I let colleagues know email is the worst way to contact me.

What’s with the wide strip of what appears to be black tape that’s screwed to the top of the windshield? That can’t be factory.  Is it hiding rust?  No matter.  It’s ND for me.

Aside from the tire shine interior, Whatever strip they have screwed into the top of the windshield / roof? Nope!

It’s surprisingly fun to drive. I say “surprisingly”, because it’s astonishingly uncomfortable (beyond anything you can imagine by just looking at it). The stick shift and upgraded engine would do well in any number of actual cars.

Might be a weird sticking point, but for $28K, replace the headliner, especially since you have the parts. When someone represents a car as being well taken care of and fails to finish a relatively simple repair, I am skeptical about their other claims.

by noting that the previous owner purposefully left them that way. The claim is that the car “can only be original once,” which is hard to argue with.

Seems a little too steep for what you’re getting. Semi-reluctant ND

In my city we have a legendary motorcycle dealer. The owners were two brothers. One is still alive and riding in his late ‘80s. He gives motorcycle tours through Banff in the summer. He just transitioned from a Gold Wing to a Spyder two or three years ago. Every boomer motorcycle rider in the area took one look and

For when your Goldwing gets too heavy to manage.

As much as I hate to say it, I don’t have that much of a problem with five years in this situation.

as much as I hate to admit it, you can’t give this dude a sentence with time as long as a murder charge. I don’t think he actually hurt anyone (besides his Ex, but that’s not what was being tried here) so property damage and threatening body language warrants the 5 years...However I would also suspend his license for

I don’t think meth heads are known for good planning. And since they’re identical twins and share the same DNA, it’s possible the non-meth sister isn’t the brightest bulb, either.

Good list, I would have never though about the big RV. Good call, nothing like an old guy driving something the size of a building and thinking they can handle it, even if they have never driven something bigger than a Camry.
