I saw so many posts from immediately after the incident that day, proclaiming that Biden’s policies were clearly responsible for the “terrorist attack”. And yet I’m sure that none of those posters ever acknowledged how wrong they were, nor did any of their followers question anything else fed to them by those posters.

Barrier curbs (including on medians and edge of traveled way) are a known launching item above 45 mph; it’s why you have posted speed limits of 45 mph wherever curbs are. At that speed, they become the hazard. 

I also only saw a single angle of the incident on the NYT website and I have no clue how someone could determine that the driver was on the brakes. It’s possible the authorities have access to another recording that’s more telling, but we aren’t certain.

I fully agree, I’ve watched the YouTube videos where folks test different barrier designs and they’re supposed to be designed to avoid turning a car into a missile. It must have been a sloped divider that turned into a ramp.

This is the distinction between prescribed use and abuse. Often too much of a prescription drug can, like, have some bad effects. 

First thing I noticed. When the author mentioned he likes seeing it towing something, that picture did nothing for me. If I’m buying this truck I want to see it towing some 40ft+ boat that barely belongs on a trailer in the first place.

I doubt that gets enforced anywhere.....I see it all over the place and have never heard of anyone getting hassled. Which is freaking annoying when getting pelted with stones (and I have a flat-front windshield vehicle so extra frustrating)
