I’ve traditionally been with you on this one, but the book makes a really compelling counterargument. They blame Rubin for a lot (including the original title) but also own up to being dumb, drunk teenagers who sorta got lost in a persona. 

I hope this gets money like Charles Dickens.

Paul’s Boutique is at the top, especially given the complete right turn it was compared to License to Ill and the monumental impact it made on sampling. I still hold “B-Boy Bouillabaisse” as my favorite track by them.
