The G looks like it’s chiseled from a single piece of Pretentiousness...

I replaced my 09 G550 just pre-COVID and was going to get a new G550. I agree that the AMG versions are a little silly (for my personal cost/benefit) and I have enough other cars that do the fast thing that my SUV doesn’t have to be that fast.

So yea... I just ordered one to fill the niche that my Lusso and Rubicon fill. I go off roading maybe once a month. I will definitely take the G off road. I will scratch it. I will ding it. And I will do it while getting a back massage from the seat.

This thing is 1000x more interesting and authentic than every other ugly, homogenous CUV polluting the road these days. Those things riding on lifted hatchback/sedan platforms are truly the bane of everything good about cars.

Plus, the use case for these cars is mostly taking the owner to/from the airport or an event- you don’t need range or a huge

The US needs to get rid of that requirement - I’m sorry to sound heartless but the assumption needs to be that someone is wearing their seatbelt. If you choose not to wear your seatbelt, well... you know.

Yes, you can, and I personally am a methodical car shopper and willing to order a car to get exactly what I want. I’m also a 2-time BMW owner looking to get the hell away from European cars. Both because of reliability and because I’d rather not be associated with a snobby brand if I can avoid it. The Stinger is the

All they needed was 185 MPH, Over Achievers

The funny part is that originally I thought the blue truck was the old one, and the red the new. THEY ARE INDISTINGUISHABLE.

If this car has anywhere near the attention to detail the F1 had it’ll be a game changer.

Every single vehicle in Queensland* has an roof-rack. Hiluxes, Landcruisers, Carnivals, Fits, Mustangs, everything. Fold out canopies and tents sit on most of those racks, along with recovery gear and extra canisters. They sell like crazy here.
