And I bet your 1969 Charger sees about as much drag strip action as these do offroad trails.

they cant really add anything onto what youve already ordered.  if they got some ordered for just themselves they can but the normal people that got them are only having them shipped to dealerships because thats how its gotta be.

I had a P38 for a short time 20 years ago. The “unreliable” designation didn’t mean that it would refuse to run or Lora was you stranded, it always started and always got me home. You just didn’t know which of its features would decided to come to work each day. One day it might be the air suspension, the next day the

I’ve owned multiple Land Rovers in the last 5 years. They’re amazingly reliable. my current LR3 has 174k miles and climbing.

When I was researching, before I’d even purchased my Rover, they brought up this statistic that “… ±60% of Land Rovers ever produced are still running …”. Suitably impressed, I eventually bought mine.

I’m seeing more and more of these clean P38s and it has me wondering if they’re more reliable than I’ve been led to believe. With the condition this one is in, both cosmetically and mechanically, I’m going to NP. It’s not for everyone but, if you’re looking for a good example of a handsome ride, you could certainly do

It’s gorgeous and easily worth the money if the suspension hadn’t been retconned back into the Stone Age.

The whole article and not a single Layer Cake ref?  Slipping man, slipping.

It will definitely be easy for the tow truck driver to spot on the side of the road.

My same thoughts on the coils. This guy is a cheap bastard twice, once with the swap and now expecting me to pay his price premium AND replace them.

I would not actually buy it but I had a visceral NP reaction between the yellow and those wheels.  Logical?  Surely not.  If it was silver or maroon I would not care about this vehicle but that yellow....it gives me the fizz

Being the upcoming owner of a 2012 L322 Rangie, I’ve been all over the Rangerovers.net forum and many of the current L322 owners are either current or former P38 owners. From what I’ve read, there are some areas, specifically the cooling system, that need attention.

That night ended in a blown up 10 second car and some buster had to drive the best race driver both sides of the Mississippi home only to be rewarded with someone else’s already opened beer.

That’s a pretty cool anecdote. It seems fitting for a movie about “illegal racing” to also have a story about “illegal film production” tied to it.

“Track Focused”

I was going to argue about the higher maintenance costs of your list comparatively, but then I put my hand back down.

Put 300 hp and position sensitive shocks in this please

Also for the same price, I found:

David, The deal with an independent front suspension (or independent rear suspension for that matter) vs. a solid axle is all about roll center heights and roll stiffness. Stop me if you already know this but the roll center of a suspension is effectively the pivot point that the body rolls around when you go around a
