It wasn’t all that hard to figure out exactly where the seller lives using the Craigslist post and Google Maps. He’s also got a BMW 550i, and the Audi and Altima parked curbside are probably his as well. The Mazda is down the street in Google Street View. I’m betting that this guy is one of those dudes who’s really…
I love Jalopnik, but when the bottom of my screen is covered with an ad that’s covered by an ad and a video that I’ve already watched covers the top of my screen, it’s just too much. I’ve seen fewer intrusive ads on torrent sites.
So my desk mate worked on the initial plans of it. So many engineers and designers wanted to get rid of the shifter and make it a column one (like in the Super Duty) so it would be easier to do stuff like the armrest foldout work surface. But for some reason, F150 buyers were quite adamant about having their super…
I think F-150 drivers probably really love their big chunky console shifters and didn’t want buttons or knobs because they couldn’t rest their hand on them while they drive. But having one in the console prevents you from using the console for anything else because it takes up so much space. So they did this.
What do you mean it’s a ‘coincidence’? Somebody went through the trouble of tying a noose with that rope, which not only serves no purpose, it makes the rope pull harder to use because you could grab the slip part by mistake.
Great points of view, both of you. I agree with both, I have doubts this was targeted or intentional towards Bobba, and I sympathize with the man having to deal with even potential bullshit like this. But that’s a fucking noose and has no place as a garage pull.
Yes, it’s a noose. And there’s no logical reason or benefit to using that type of knot on a garage pull cord. So here’s what I’d bet happened:
It’s ridiculous how much I have no idea if this is fake or just England.
For filmlopnik, some context to the Lelouch bit: for reasons inscrutable to me, Lelouch is a total convert to iPhone filmmaking in recent years. He’s been dining on out on remakes of great films lately, most recently with his second sequel (or third in the trilogy? it’s complicated) to A Man and a Woman, which he…
I mean, let’s be honest, if someone gave you a stack of cash to strap some GoPros on a Ferrari and fuck around Monaco for a week, you’d do it. Don’t even pretend you wouldn’t.
I know right. Mission Impossible is probably one of my favorite ads.
That was genuinely boring. It’s like they couldn’t decide what they wanted to do, and they wound up missing the mark either way.
This is true, as the owner of an Lm002, it is odd, and as quiet, retiring sort of a chap, very few people ask questions, although my dd does raise eyebrows. However, a Mega Cruiser would be to much, really.
There’s one in Japan for $10k:
“how wide is it?”
This is the right answer. Ford Expeditions are also a similar option. I tow my boat with a 2006 Expedition. You can probably get a 2007 Expedition for under $5k and it can tow up to 9000 lbs. No need to spend a lot for a car you will only use a few times a year.
