As long as they make BFG All Terrain KO2's in whatever size that wheel is, I’m fine with it. Unrelated note: I’m off to buy powerball tickets.

The glovebox can only be opened within a menu on the screen

I’m uncreative. The only thing I can think to import is a Defender. Is there a database or guide or blog that gives some ideas on cool cars to import, especially as the ‘90s opens up?

I know this is apples and bananas, but 3 years ago I paid $30,500 for a 2011 (new body style) Porsche Cayenne with 50k miles. Today it’s got 85k and has been absolutely bulletproof. I love what they’ve done with the Wrangler but that is a ton of money.

I’m encouraged that they’re popping up in random towns - I’m in Shreveport and was giddy to see a freshly imported old 110 here.

My dumb-ass town (the same one fleeced by Elio Motors) is trying to go from Natural Gas to electric; they’ve started with a limited run of all-electric buses. I’m sure they bought the worst ones available.

That one’s over 25 years old so you can import it pretty easily. There’s a guy in Dallas who imports RHD Defenders and flips them for big profit - saw a few ads on FB. Now that I’m searching there are at least two: xerbera being the other. The trick is finding one originally sold in a LHD country, like Spain.

I’ve always been curious how a G-Wagen would perform in modern crash tests. I’d pay $3 to watch it do the small overlap test.

It’s a Porsche, everything works.

In January, authorities arrested him after he arrived in Florida on vacation from Germany.

Land Rover is using wool in the Velar. I could get on board with that.

Depreciation, do your thing!

1) It has more room behind the 3rd seat than a Tahoe.

Besides learning a bow tie I’ve also learned lock picking - a friend learned piano! I’m really gonna need to be quick with the play/pause if I’m gonna learn how to build a 911 from this guy, though.

Recently I passed a Dodge 3500 Dually of the same vintage on a 2 lane road. He was going about the speed limit, I wanted to do about 10 over that. Passed him courteously and continued on my way. About a minute later I look in the rear-view and he’s barreling down on me. I was doing 70, he passed me like I was standing

My college roommate had a CPO 997, the prick. It developed some sort of engine issue and the dealer had an entire new engine flown in from Germany. Total time spent in service was around two weeks. My wife has a CPO Lexus, which, as you mentioned, was a total waste of money.

Found the Texan

Mouthing off to cops is by far my favorite aspect of my white privilege. I’ve flashed my lights at a cop sitting in the left lane doing the speed limit. He just moved over! I’ve honked at a civilian car doing something stupid only to get a badge waved in my face - which was met with a raised middle finger and a laugh

I hate reading good legal writing only to realize it was penned by a person naturally much smarter than me; from that ACLU guy’s bio:

Just over a million last I checked. I need 964s and 993s to come back down to pre-insanity levels ASAP.
