I’ve been behind the wheel of a lesser-powered AWD Passat of this type (as well as a Jetta wagen that had a transplanted 4motion system), similarly modded by the owner, and I can tell you they are very fast and planted when set up right. Amazing to drive and I’d guess the W8 makes smoooooooooth power all the way

COME TO PORTLAND!

You’d think that somewhere in one of his properties - ,maybe even that massive tower with his name on it - that there would be a dry cleaner renting space. Or a tailor. Or both.

It’s cheaper to buy the alphabet pass, for $100 we’ll eventually get all the rest of the letters.

That’s what happened to the Mitsubishi’s back in the late 90's - they were once featured on the cover of Mixmag. Not long after people started overdosing and dying at parties because the market was flooded with bad fakes. It’s taken 15 years for the market to recover, apparently...

It’s making a strong comeback in the U.K. and anecdotal evidence from people I talk to here in Portland suggest it’s jumped from club/party drug to just a casual bar drug. Seriously. I’ve...had some fun out on the town with some very excellent molly and run into a lot of other younger folk doing the same thing. Maybe

Not the first, not the last. I still have a copy of the Mixmag issue with the Mitsubishi pill on it - those were legendary and millions of them made it into the U.S. in the late 90's. They were cleaner and more predictable than a lot of other pressed pills at the time, but once they got popular fakes flooded the

One thing nobody talks about is the differences between the kinds of bike out there. A dual sport is not a sport bike is not a cruiser is not a ‘city bike (moped or sub-125cc). They all have different riding characteristics that a beginner may not appreciate until switching to a different kind of bike. So to answer

Yeah don’t forget you picked modern sportbikes as a guage.

Ehhh make it the south Philly area - QVC is such a staple in that area like 1 in 5 people work for them already

No, I just think the quality of virgin blood was better back in the 70's. Virgins today don’t have the innocence they used to, and those impurities have ended up on his face.

It’s called RallyCross (RX) and I’m sure the promoter, Red Bull, would consider these on-track obstacles. Although the old fuddy-duddies at the FIA might take some exception to increasing the danger to the drivers, as they’ve taken this whole decades-long safety campaign pretty far.

Exactly. You have to re-invest in the image of F1 if you want to keep extracting Heinken-like dollars from adevertisers and sponsors, both of the teams and the sport as a whole. ROLEX isn’t looking to shill$10,000 watches to fans of a race series too broke to pay it’s teams for showing up. CVCC was only around to cash

So, just for the folks who don’t sleep eat and breathe F1, CVC Partners has taken tens of billions of dollars out of F1 in ‘profits’ (or whatever phrase you’d use in the finance markets). This has meant the absolute collapse of several teams over the past few years as they received nothing for their efforts at the

Aaaand this is why NASCAR racing is a joke on the international stage. Steph & Co are making hard work of convincing us that F1 is boring, but if anything even remotely like this happened it’s likely the drivers wouldn’t be starting the next race(s). Say what you want about ‘boring’ but at least the drivers know how

And Formula 1 races! Let’s not forget that awesomely terribly street course with the castle as a wall.

Log Angeles Coliseum

So you think Mercedes would skip both Williams and Force India - both well-developed and fairly well-funded - and leap to the aid of Manor just to cultivate young drivers? Interesting, but it would seem like Mercedes already has a strong driver pipeline in feeder series, and they’re doing alright by most accounts at

Wow, Stef, you beat on the predictability drum, carrying on about how boring the race is at the front of the grid...

They tell you ‘factors’?
