That is exactly how I feel. I’m in Manchester, which is VERY left leaning, and the majority of the city has remained up in arms about it. especially after the rise of attacks taking place on immigrants etc. :(

I think the American and British Media approached it differently though. Here in the UK a LOT of the focus was on Meredith, and getting justice for her - whether it be anything to do with Amanda Knox or not. But to be honest, the whole thing was a shit show.

The big fat quiz of everything! That show is fantastic. Last time Mel was on it she had a tiny bottle of baileys for a mid quiz pick me up, and in the past brought snacks for everyone on the panel as it is obviously a long thing to film.

I don’t think they will. Channel 4 are pretty good at not going full crazy pants reality on stuff like this. If it had been ITV however...

She’s just had a little 2 part series on BBC called The Chronicles of Nadiya - it followed her travelling around Bangladesh and re-living her childhood trips there. Really interesting to watch, and her warmth and humor really shone through!

I completely agree with you! Drinking on trains is so normalized here in the UK, I can’t imagine it is in the US? That’s why when you realise she’s what she is, it seems to pack more of a punch.
