In a world where Grimes has stooped to dating Elon Musk everything is awful there is nothing normal the center cannot hold society is a mirage and if there is no society anymore we should all just get in our cars and move to the East Side.

OMG that’s great.

It is difficult but I think the story is the letdown from their secondary lines. Also, Murray was human this time. And the Caps didn’t let things get them down is if they gave up a lead or got down by a goal. In the past they would’ve folded. This year, they never did.

Doing this without Wilson, Backstrom, or Burakovski is impressive. And two very young guys have basically never played in the NHL playoffs before tonight (wasn’t Walker the first Australian player ever in the playoffs?). I don’t really know what happened to Kessel or his line in this series, but that seems to be where

Prince.

And the DPS suspends the entire Caps lineup for The first and third periods of that Game 7, leaving Vegas to play against an empty net for 2/3 of the game. And the Knights win by a score of 932-1.

So, he went all the way to San Antonio to steal a jacket and get fired? Sorry, I mean “amicably part ways”? He must’ve really wanted that jacket.

Just being contrary, I think the Vegas story heightens interest in all the other stories. These playoffs have been great almost across the board, so the Vegas story pulls people in and then they also see the highlights from that Caps-Pens game the other night, or pretty much any other game in any playoff series and

This is just a very cruel, convoluted long-con scheme cooked up by the hockey gods so that even if the Caps get to the Stanley Cup finals, they can still, somehow, mathematically, get beat by a Penguin.

Hey, it’s been a while. Nice to see your reply. I mostly stick to Deadspin these days.

Too bad the “Fire Dan Snyder” guy doesn’t get on camera at other DC games besides Caps games. The Lerner’s should give him a seat behind home plate.

...and the Nationals are now losing 4-1.

The fact that he’s still allowed on any television shows pretending to be serious news outlets is the real train wreck. He and his client don’t care if the appearance itself goes well or poorly. The victory is in being able to spray shit on everyone’s tv screens, and the resulting attention it generates (ahem).

The confused look on Lowry’s face 10 seconds after the game was over should be the new logo for the NBA.

It’s weird how he stares straight ahead while the others are talking, totally disengaged. I can understand that may be due, in part, to some long-term injury that maybe makes it painful for him to turn his neck or something, but get the guy a swivel chair, for God’s sake.

At the half it was interesting to see Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Shaq dissecting the Celtics’ run and Charles and Kenny explaining how the Sixers let them back into the game by not slowing the pace and running set plays. And as they discussed the penchant the Sixers had for just heaving up threes every time down the
