Make a homologation version, you cowards!

Towing is like group sex; most people talking about it aren’t actually doing it, and most of the people who are doing it are doing it a lot less and a lot less intensely than they’d have you believe, and the relatively few people who are doing it all the time have organized their lives so as to accommodate their

i agree with you, but i respect that the seller also gave a price for a complete transmission rebuild in the ad.

Why is this article so bitter?

That Mustang isn’t even that bad. A couple extra steps to get to but “full dashboard teardown” is bullshit. In my experience most cars have it behind the glove box.

Volvo S40, C30 and C70.

Yeah, my Subaru Impreza is pretty much the same way. Drop the glovebox and thar she blows!

Yep. Every Honda I’ve owned has it beneath the glove box.   Takes 5 minutes.

Dodge Charger, Honda Pilot, RAM, Most BMWs...

Missed the AWD P80 platform Volvo cars where, to change a fuel pump, you must first drop the entire rear subframe, then the fuel tank... OR cut a sizable hole under your rear seat for access. Here’s a short vid of the floor cutting method.

I’d love to see a more Mexican lineup of cars in FH5, but none of those compares to the Tsuru in terms of popularity or the place they have in Mexico’s shared automotive memory.

Its amazing how big the Smart looks next to those two.

“This was the fully loaded model,” except FWD and 4-cylinder. Are you using the same “fully loaded” concept as the rest of us?

I’m always very honest with how much I spend on my projects. I always do a cost roll-up, and in all of my posts, I link back to articles showing all the parts and sweat I had to put into getting the vehicles into the shape they’re in.

You guys are jumping on DT while leaving out (disingenuously?) a major portion of his project write ups.

I’d just replaced the shocks on my old Isuzu Amigo. I took the little truck on a run to the dump and surprise surprise, my left front wheel comes off and goes rolling down the road, pretty far, at least 100 yards. It clicked immediately as I had one of those “oh fuck” sort of moments: I’d definitely forgotten to

Hey, I work out of these things for a living, so I have a few pointers.

Power seats are a “don’t care” thing for me for this very reason.   I drive my car, my wife drives hers.  I haven’t adjusted the seat in my car in about 2 years.  Last time I did, it was because my wife’s car was in the shop and she borrowed mine.

Seat side, but for a different reason - The more electronics you have in the door, the more prone it is to breakage and the more difficult a door is to take apart and repair. Then again, I was daily driving a car as late as 2017 with crank windows. When the controls are on the side of the seat everything is local to

as a former Ordnance Officer on a destroyer, I have immeasurable vitriol for range foulers, NOTAMS are there for a reason, assholes.
