Really? I bought a rough, high mileage one at auction for like 400 bucks just before covid started. I get that mine is a rough example, but surely they aren’t worth 14k?

Yeah same boat, I have an 06 V70R. Very curios that the V70 isn’t listed, considering the airbags and steering wheels are literally interchangeable between the S60 and the V70.

I’ve broken down twice on cross country road trips, both times from a failed fuel pump.

Yeah came to say this. If it’s taking a tech 8 hours to do that job, time to find another career...

I’d just replaced the shocks on my old Isuzu Amigo. I took the little truck on a run to the dump and surprise surprise, my left front wheel comes off and goes rolling down the road, pretty far, at least 100 yards. It clicked immediately as I had one of those “oh fuck” sort of moments: I’d definitely forgotten to

I own one, and don’t disagree with any of your points, but the massive space inside makes up for it. Yeah the suicide doors are kind of a pain in a parking lot situation, but the rear legroom is massive, and it’s much smaller overall than a minivan would be (and cooler looking imo.) Mine has 275,000 miles and is still

Antiga and Untiga actually sound viable, don’t give them ideas....

Couldn’t agree more. If you’re rich as balls and wanna have a crazy trip trashing your supercars, hell, go for it. Hopefully they brought a long a film crew...

I agree entirely, except I’d point out that the ONE downside of a hatch/wagon/SUV is that you don’t have as secure a storage space as you would with a sedan, since smashing a window gives you access to the whole vehicle. Maybe that matters to people who own golf clubs or something?

Wow 35 grand? That sounds like a steal! Totally worthless for any type of real work, but for your own fully functional toy jet pack that works that seems like a pretty good deal.

Ok, I agree. But where is the line between “reasonable accommodation” and “not being able to do your job.” I mean she wouldn’t be able to work as a bartender right?

I’ve always wondered how many people would actually “leave all carry-on bags behind” in a case like this....

Care to enlighten us then? It’s a bummer that the airline said it was ok, and is now seemingly going back on their words. But pushing your work onto your coworkers because it violates your religion doesn’t really sit well with me either.

I’m a mechanic. If my religion forbid me to work on cars, I’d obviously get canned. I really don’t see how it’s any different. Some jobs require you to do things that are against some religious teachings, if you don’t like you, you should get another job. We all do shit at work we don’t like sometimes, but you’re

This is good advice. The crazy thing is how many manufacturers don’t recommend changing the oil till 7500 miles.....

Is that seriously how the tryout works? They just put on music and everyone has to do their own random dances to get noticed?

Even with the nerf, Tempests are still the ‘Toss air unit to mass late game.

Whoa awesome. I live near a Marine base and see these flying all the time, but had no idea they could fold up like that.

It’s all good, he’s wearing a high visibility vest so he’s totally safe.

I’m pretty sure it’s Sandy Beach on Oahu, Hawaii.
