As a very successful gen x’er who didn’t go to college yet still managed to make it, I have to say the real cost isn’t even described by just low income and high cost of living. I always find it amusing that the generation clash is always viewed as being millennials vs baby boomers. Poor old Gen X just gets forgotten, which seems like the most Gen X thing it could really do.
