Oh it was there the whole time. I'm no pioneer.

I never was a fan of that show... but I will admit the sub's design was sleek as hell.

This is silly umbrage. Bolland's done covers for a million DC trades. And the interview was with Mieville.

Wow. More ham than a slab of bacon sandwiched between two roasted pigs.

'Hulk and the Allegory of the Cave' I would stand in line for days to see.

Now playing

I swear I read this..."Metaphorically, we're not going back to the cave, there's nothing like that, but we've always said let's get Tony back to the cave"... and immediately thought of Mitchell And Webb.

I think that's my concern. I've kind of reached my threshold on 'Batman brought to his knees' arcs following Knightfall. The concept certainly seems cool, even if the art and design of nuDC has seemed nauseatingly 90s.

So being a big Batman fan but having never read much of Snyder and Capullo's work, I must ask... is this large arc worth getting into?

A little bit backwards, that. From what I've read, it was Goyer's take on the Man Of Steel that Nolan wanted to push upon on the studios.

Absolutely fascinating. Replying to promote.

I always figured if you squinted, it looked a little bit like the circular bat logo.

Yeah. I'm not about to decide this movie will hang or not by this one scene. And I certainly don't envy Whedon in trying to tie in all he has to from the comics. That can be a pretty campy well to have to draw from and hiccups are part of the package sometimes, so long as they're small.

Now that you mention it...

Nothing wrong with wanting the bar raised from the 80s and 90s campy superhero films. Even just a little.

Exactly. Subtle as a bag of Mjolnirs.

I wanted to disagree but... yeah it's pretty rough and trite dialogue.

The key word you'll want to remember is 'role'. ;) Not villain.

Shy of Ghandi, that's one of his best roles.

But we elected Obama thus all racism ceased to exist in a thunderclap of magical wishes. See! See!

For the life of me I've never understood this ridiculous rationale, ignoring the elephant in the room: What white people need to use this word so badly?
