that’s the turning setup for a lot of heavy equipment - twist in the middle on a huge pivot with hydraulics, saving a bunch of weaker mechanical turning assemblies from breakage. graders, most of any kind of front end loader, a lot of the huge dump trucks, farm tractors - many of them incorporate this design into

My friends and I would all go out and buy new games, and then copy them to share - then again, this was before they started using codes and copy protection.

Did none of the other people commenting notice that you’re never late because people think you’re the famous Jesus??? You probably just have the ability to stop time, so of course you’re never late...

I wonder if Honda has dealt with the lack of strength in the A-pillars and roof of the Ridgeline yet. I remember seeing a dynamic rollover test video that would have the driver’s head outside the cabin after a rollover... 6 years ago me wanted one until I saw that video

You do realize that our Canadian health care is almost completely tax based, right? we pay more on purchase tax and income tax just to be able to have that free health care... so him taking that 30% hit on his PC build in duty and tax, is after he’s already taken a 25-35% hit on his income....

If not motivation, then the owning of a home will definitely become the cause/reason for acquiring those skills... I Had quite a few skills prior to buying my home 12 years ago, and I’ve either learned new skills or honed and improved the ones I already had. I’d never done plumbing or changed a light fixture before,

Just went through the tumblr page a bit... I was wondering what was used to protect the paint - so it is 4 to 9 layers of paint, then the paint is removed where the words were, and then gloss clear coat.

my dane/sheppard (120lbs - photo is deceiving) isn’t quite as loud and is higher pitched. my basset/husky can do the annoying high-pitched, ear-hurting yip sound in his bark when he wants attention (a husky thing), but if you knock on the door, he gets a low and loud and makes himself sound like a 200lb dog. he’s only

Same here, I have a dane/sheppard cross. His poops are as big as mine. He’s pinned someone against a wall before - paws on shoulders. He’s getting old now though. We also have a two yr old basset/husky cross, and he sounds like the bigger dog from the outside of the house.

Why wouldn’t they be useful with heels, when man pictures of them show them being used on heels...

wow, here in Canada, your employer can’t do a thing if you want/have a tattoo, or non-natural colour of hair. Hell, at the Starbucks down the street from my house there’s an employee that just finished getting a full sleeve done and he wears a t-shirt, so a good half of the work is visible to every patron of the

other lego containers...

The title says “vehicle” so I was expecting some super expensive jet (f35???) or something. Was disappointed it was just a car... And I say just a car, because the accident wasn’t even that impressive looking... some of the remains of that car are likely salvageable...

okay, at least i’m not the only one who saw that first, lol.

thanks. I’ll look it up if/when my HP printer dies. Currently it is my main form of OCR, as it has it built in and I don’t have to go looking online for a solution. Outputs to a text file, so no crazy formatting issues either.

I had the Trypticon as a kid, among many other transformers that were very well played with. I know they all went out to some donation place after I’d moved out. Out of the three above, Trypticon should be brought back, and that is my biased opinion.

a yes or no question, not a bunch of yes or no questions rolled into one...

Sainsmart (you used them in a link a while ago for an arduino kit) has Pi deals on right now, and there’s a bonus 20% off until Nov 26th (code is “withParis” - a little tacky, but whatever...). They have a nice setup with a touch screen for $125.99 (screen by itself is $50), plus you get all the power cables, a case

I’ve painted many rooms and kept many brushes a long time - once you find on that helps more than hinders and it really good, you want to keep it around, especially when you’re the type that easily cuts in and does corners without the need for tape. All I do is saturate the brush to the point of dripping a lot), wrap

Pretty ridiculous - Those Death star ice moulds are 19.99 US, and I’m in Canada (less than 2 hours to Buffalo, so not very far from the border) and those won’t ship to my address (if they did, it would be $26.64 CDN with the exchange plus shipping and so on). So I looked those up on amazon.ca - they’re $75.44 Cdn
