Excuse me, that is not a pet peeve, that is a bad habi--[eaten by tiger]

And here I figured Burneko’s pet peeve would be using a single word where 5 or more could do.

This Kyrgios guy sure seems like a piece of shit.

You beat me to the punch. Northwestern actually looks good, but it’s against Purdue. Guess I’m a pervert...

I liked the part when McEnroe said “You cannot be Kyrgios!”

Bold response to an article about two non-Power 5 schools playing football... That also dismissed a game between two Power 5 schools in a single sentence.

Agreed, they definitely don’t count.

What about smaller goalies? No taller than 1.25 Dinklages.

I’ve got bourbon. 430 EDT isn’t too early for brown liquors, is it?

i grow weary of this world

Having read through all the top comments, I’m enjoying this running theme where other commenters misinterpret your stance on this. Now admit it wasn’t a bunt damn it!!!

It was Sports Night, on two occasions. For one, the quote comes after recapping a bunch of no-or-low-scoring final outcomes. Dan says, I believe, “a modest proposal: make the nets bigger.” for the other, Dan and Casey are discussing Dan’s disdain for soccer, when he suggests removing the goalie and making the nets

You should try looking at the camera angle from the side, which actually shows what the bat is doing.

Umpire here. Squaring to bunt is not the same as offering at the pitch. Squaring is just a stance. Batters would not be allowed to pull back if this were the case.

Imagine - imagine - checking who it was in reply to.

A “regular foul ball” with two strikes isn’t a third strike.

“In what turned out to be the highlight of the set, Allen proceeded to make a series of low grunting noises, implying that the behavior of the average working class male is similar to that of a primate. “Ughhh?” he intoned. “Ugh ugh ugh.”

He began by asking what the deal with air travel was

“Newhart then put his hand up to his ear like he was taking a phonecall and proceed to hold a non-existent conversation where we only got his side of things in a discussion about not much at all. This went on for a significant part of his set.”

this post probably never would have been considered newsworthy enough to print”
