NYC has potentially the longest history of racism compared to any other US city, so I’m not sure what angle you’re working here.

I’ve read your comment twice and have thought about it for a good few minutes, and still genuinely can’t decide if you broke the rules.

It’s a good thing you’re here to throw cold water on the obviously serious pitch that Dave here was making.

To be clear, I was just saying 10 minutes as something longer than 5 minutes but that would interruptable. I probably should have said 8 or something just to avoid confusion. Didn’t mean to refer to a misconduct.

Ah, I didn’t know about that rule change. That’s one step closer.  I still don’t agree with it from a game-design standpoint, but that’s helpful. Thanks

I must be articulating my position poorly.

Does anyone have a take on why the 5 minute major doesn’t end when a goal is scored? It seems like having a 250% longer power play and the player being thrown out would be sufficient to delineate between a minor and a major. Feel free to tell me why I’m super wrong.

Imagine how fuckin’ pissed the Night King would look sitting at a table during an arbitration hearing.

Here’s something I’ve never had answered, which may or may not be mentioned in the books: How did Craster know that the Night King wanted babies, and that’s how they kept piece with the White Walkers?  Was there some sort of communication?  Just a really good guess?  It was framed as though they had some sort of deal,

I’d been here for less than a month, and I was in the Herald Square station at rush hour and made direct eye contact with someone as they were shitting on a wall.

I ride the N every day, so trust me, that does not sound untrue at all.

I need more than one hand to count the amount of times. I encourage everyone to reconsider moving to New York City.

I mean, it seems like there’s actually a lot of hatred for Grande here. She ain’t the villain in this situation.

She said that he is a potential key player in the future, and would only be a depth player on a contender right now, which is the absolute truth. Rewinding 2 weeks, if you dropped Zadina on the Lightning, do you think he’d be a top liner?  Kid could totally be good and was a sick value when he fell to the Wings but

Dang, lots of room for nuance here.

I’ve been like this for at least 25 years.  I’ve been an athlete for several of those years on specific diets, and it still never changed.  I don’t know what’s wrong with me, man, but my butt’s weird.

I don’t see how being happy for your team that ultimately will not win a championship and allowing a demonstrably incorrect outcome are on the same coin. I’m a Lions fan, I know only momentary happiness, but if they win on a blown call, that doesn’t feel good as a fan to me. Others clearly feel differently.

You keep saying that it’s entertainment, but it’s entertainment based on a competition that has rules. A lot of dope shit happens in sports that is not rewarded due to rules in one way or another.

I’m confused on how those two things hinge on the same point. Was the Clippers comeback based on something related to the rules/officiating? It seemed like a clean comeback to me, but perhaps I missed something.
