Oh, I think that absolutely is the case. That said, the fact that he committed assault against a woman is an important distinction. He would not have gotten kicked off his team had he gotten into a simple bar fight, at least by my estimation. Let me know if you think I’m wrong on that though.

If we were to correct the language being used, is “violence against women” the correct choice of words? I worry about the way that would be twisted by bozos who think equal rights means equal hits, so maybe there’s a more accurate term that would still prevent that kind of word-twisting.
