I am already a huge fan Viola Davis. And of course she is right. No one protects, cherishes, truly loves and sees black women. Or our own unique brand of beauty especially after you hit a certain age. And at times we are treated even worse than black men by society and black man.

With relatively little screen time, Ms. Davis portrayed the most interesting character in Suicide Squad, a movie that was largely a mess.

This is not really on target and it’s no longer Saturday night, but nobody told me when I had sons that their girlfriends and wives would suck up to me. Just saying, if you are a girlfriend, DIL, etc., well, we really appreciate the love. Raising those puppies was not a piece of cake!

I guess sad, and maybe a little mad at fate, but grateful that you have it to fall back on? Also, maybe validated that your problems are “real”? (This is coming from a long-time unemployed, undiagnosed person.)

My advice would be to enjoy it for what it is: a crush on another person you wouldn’t want to lose your marriage over, yes? Have some alone time with your right/left hand or the sex toy of your choice, squeeze the living hell out of your fantasies, and steer clear of anything that puts you in danger of things…

Yes! I’ve had those moments, but nothing compared to what you describe. It sounds like you have a good medical support network, which is awesome!

I looked at indeed, and government jobs website, they’re really good about updating you where they are in the interview process. Like they’ll update it to “reviewing qualifications” and then “meets qualifications” and then, “sent to hiring manager for review”
