Bock, bock!

Bock, bock!

Can’t say I have a bone to pick with the way you’re interpreting it, but the interpretation above reads more to me as “This is a BEYOND presumptuous thing for them to do.” It’s really not.

“...Blumhouse’s Truth Or Dare, from a production company that genuinely believes it should get top billing in the very title of its latest feature.”

Of course Apple doesn’t know anything about making TV. I don’t know anything about making computers, but if I had the money to hire some of the most capable execs in that business and finance their great instincts, I wouldn’t worry about what I personally know too much.

Maybe I came at you a little strong with that reply...part of your post read like you were defending the movie’s box office performance because $650M with no context is a lot of money. But there’s a lot of context here, and I consistently see AVC commenters taking studio marketing/accounting practices into

Do a little more research on the “inside baseball” here and you’ll find that the DC piece of WB has brought on new leadership with a new strategy for handling their most valuable IP because - surprise! - the internet pundits are actually right about this.

This is simultaneously my most and least memorable childhood theatre experience: A couple people in my family took me to a local dinner theatre spot’s Winnie the Pooh-based production when I was very very young, and right before the start of the show the actors announced that they would be casting an audience member

I’m on board with this. That version of By the Way with the little jam/solo at the end is the only version of the song I listen to anymore.

All these comments have me terrified that the Drag Race fans on here bailed in the wake of Kinja...please don’t make me head for the Reddit hills...

“...recently removed from his Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody over conflicts with Fox...”

808s and Heartbreak is my ticket back to the midwestern winter weather that I loved growing up. For the holiday tunes, I’m all over the place: Mannheim Steamroller, Crosby and Sintra singing carols, the Beach Boys, Buble and Isley Brothers Christmas albums, the Phil Spector compilation, August Burns Red’s Carol of the

“Guys this trash can is lip-syncing”
“That’s not in sync at all”
“Well what do you expect- it’s a trash can!”

this is the worst joke i’ve seen/heard in recent memory, and i tried to watch daddy’s home AND baywatch last week.

Tyrese has been in how many movies with Dwayne Johnson and still isn’t spelling his name correctly? No wonder he can’t get a call back from the man himself...

“an era when...you didn’t have to be remotely funny to be a comedy superstar.”

You mean the present day?

At the risk of sounding pretentious, SXSW is the festival with an audience most likely to love this movie. I’ll still see this, but IV’s review is a healthy reminder that studios and other distributors often try to game the Rotten Tomatoes system by releasing movies to warm crowds first.

Looks like my disqus account has been successfully claimed, but I’ve got no comment history. Is there something else I’m supposed to do, or is that coming later, or did I do something wrong?
