Stretch?

This is a very good point. I find #adulting fun, because it’s the antidote against all the amazing travel/wedding/food porn photos that populate social media and create an idealistic image. Like, yes you can also go to fancy brunch, but I will still need to drunkenly vacuum when you get home.

LOLZ

Lololololol

I mean if we aren’t getting many of the benefits of full adulthood that past generations had (raises, jobs, being able to buy a house, having a bachelor’s degree actually mean something, etc.) why should we not embrace the only fun part? Which is having fewer responsibilities and congratulating yourself when you

SAME. I talk to my parents like every other day. And they live about an hour away so I see them once a month usually.

DUDE. Stay gone from that house. I’m so sorry that sounds really rough.

That sounds reasonable to me! I think especially if you phrase it as checking in to see if he is conscious and alive. My freshman year of college was a little rocky with my parents, because they were very worried about my safety in a city. It wasn’t unreasonable, but it seriously got under my skin. Then they just

HAHAHA! I find that ridiculously charming.

Yeah, it’s amazing how much more mature someone is when they’ve had to be responsible for themselves, huh? :p

Exactly! Creating an expense that they then pay for is not the same thing as when they help you out with your own incurred expenses.

My family is the poor relations on my dad’s side. It’s weird and awkward sometimes, but my parents are also the most happily and longest married couple. And I never set fire to things or had to go to rehab as a child. So we still feel like we win!

Yeah...I think that one kind of hinges on if you actually want to go home or not/how often they buy your tickets. If you don’t want to go, then them buying your plane ticket is actually just taking away your best excuse to not see them.

Sweet! I must have a really healthy body image then.

That is incredibly adorable.

:( Taking care of yourself is definitely more important!

I totally agree. And not just handsome, but like approachable handsome. Like he didn’t look like a douchey finance bro (like Trish’s love interest), he looks like a perfectly nice dude. And they picked someone who so many women already have positive feelings towards. It’s so smart! I love this show so much.

I know I had the same fear!!! I was so glad when she got him.

Agreed. He was getting really boring there.

And that is exactly why I don’t have a cat gouger thing.
