Can’t think of any right now but I am sure there will be a slideshow later to jog my memory.

When I finally drove an E46 3 series I was very disappointed. At the time I had a 99 Maxima SE with a 5 speed. From what I read I was expecting this sublime wonderful driving experience. It felt only marginally better than the Nissan. Too much sedan, not enough sports, too much build up, not enough pay off.
I watch his videos sometimes, because I do enjoy finding out about the oddball “quirks and features” (TM) (cant stand that he has to call it that every time though). He was a really funny and entertaining writer. Shame he’s given it up for video, since his voice and delivery are pretty annoying, but we all know what…
I recently discovered Hagerty and Cammisa and I second this, while he can be a little corny, the series like Revolutions are polished, informative, and entertaining without being over-the-top.
Doug is worth at least a million dollars at this point.
The most punchable man on the internet for five years straight.
I used to like to read Doug Demuro. Once he switched to video, I didn’t bother.
I still remember the video when he got an actually interesting soviet car and instead of taking it seriously he just laughed like an idiot for 20 minutes, people love him, I, personally, can't stand him
Same boat here. He covers some amazing cars, and I like that he doesn’t just stick to the latest 7 digit price exotics. I just can’t stand his presentation style, it manages to be both boring and annoyingly enthusiastic at the same time. I miss Jalop Doug :/
I cant make it 5 minutes with the way that guy talks. I wish he would dial that way the hell back and not try so damn hard.
If the Raptor had driven normally and let the Accord driver pass, then none of this would have happened, would it? It takes two to tango, and the Raptor driver was being a dick in response to the Accord being a dick. The Accord took it up a level and the Raptor responded in kind. They’re both at fault.
As much as I do appreciate some of the stuff from MotorTrend, I have to choose Truck U. It is seems to only be targeting the weekend accessorizing truck guy market. Every thing they seem to do, or advertise is “snap-on” “clip-on” or “bolt-on” swap parts. Occasionally, they showcase someone else’s really cool build.…
which etiquette? the legal one that the left lane is for passing? I’m confused at why there’s a desire to impede other drivers, how do you know if that driver isn’t in a hurry to get to a hospital that a relative is at on their death bed? and normally doesn’t drive aggressively how do you know? you’re probably not…
Please don’t do that. While we all wish everyone drives with proper etiquette, sometimes people have legitimate reasons for being in a rush. Yes, you can sometimes separate the dickish driver apart, but those people are also the ones likely to retaliate.
The Raptor was brake-checking and sped up to block the Accord; that behavior could have easily killed somebody, and not just the asshole in the Accord.
What they did to Wheeler Dealers was heartbreaking for me. I used to watch the show when it first showed up in the states and back when Mike and Ed were shifting 1,000 quid Vauxhauls and other cool but crappy older cars. Sure, every episode followed the same formula but Mikes’ cheeky salesman personality and Ed’s…
Chasing Classic Cars has some interesting content, but Wayne Carini is the cure for insomnia.
the best take here so far, and I want to subscribe to your newsletter
Agreed. Shame on the drivers of the Accord, Ford, and the guy videoing and commentating. Nothing in that video should be celebrated.
I’m not sure why you classify passing on the right as “overly-aggressive”. Considering the quantity of people parked in the left lane obstructing faster traffic, it’s often the only way to make progress. Obviously, how it’s done matters.
