As a 5'9" person, I would never want to be stuck in the back seat of any modern pony car. Last Mustang I owned with an adult size rear seat was my 1986 GT liftback and it had lots of cargo space. Even the 1965 had a decent back seat. Any of the current pony cars could be designed with a decent size rear seat, but they

What I want to know is why they held a Cars and Coffee event in a snowstorm.

Me thinks he needs an STI. Why crash in the snow when you can AWD drift through the snow. I abused two of them within an inch of their lives and they never skipped a beat.

Just over budget (starts at $59k), but look at it. RWD, 472-hp, manual.  And that color.  I think I just blue myself.

I’d say you’re an idiot, but even idiots know you can’t prevent all collisions by “just looking around more.”

They are literally 5 times more deaths in small cars than SUVs. (The lowest 2015 death rate by vehicle type is for very large SUVs: 13 deaths per million registered vehicles. The highest is for mini cars: 64 deaths per million registered vehicles.) old data but not old enough to be substantively different

As a person who has been hit by a car I call bullshit. I had a person that ran a stop sign hit the back of my motorcycle.  There was no way for me to avoid the collision as they were past my line of sight.  Happened in under a second.  Flew 20 ft. through the air.  You are not responsible for people hitting you.

The thing that most municipalities don’t get is that for public transit to be used it has to basically be 24/7. or at least core outside hours like 4am to 2am (at which point, just go 24/7).

When I take one look at GM’s currentvTahoe and Suburban architecture, I’m hard pressed to feel safe in an M1 tank, much less my GTI.

See my thing is a tiny car has lower overall operating costs over it’s life than most larger vehicles, which is what draws me to them.

More likely is people buying older used cars that are less efficient and probably not as well maintained so will pollute more.

And the best way to live forever is to just not die.

1st Gear - How did imported cars and foreign brands become popular here?

Ummmm, you do know that >sometimes< that’s not up to you right?

The spark was a turd, but the sonic hatch was a good driving solid little car that fit humans comfortably.

LOL!  You think politicians will listen to poor people.

Damn I would be so pissed as that wrx.

When I was a kid, one night someone was tailgating my dad while I was with him. My dad is not smart and has a short fuse, so he started slamming on the brakes whenever they got particularly close. Speed up quickly, get close, slam on brakes. Those idiots (my dad and the other driver) played that game several times

In an old episode of Seinfeld, a lady ignores georges rage and politely tells him his car is on fire, and then says all cheery “Merry Christmas” and walks away.

I’m there too. The older I get the more I realize it’s not worth it to fuck with strangers. The next guy could be this shining example of the human race.
