Our 2014 Ody had the same problem just out of warranty at around 60k miles, and got the expensive rebuild with a grace from Honda corporate to pay for it—this was before I learned about VCM and muzzling. Has been muzzled since. and no problems over the next 70k miles tho I don’t trust the transmission to make it to
