I’ve bought and sold on BAT and also driven several models that show up from time to time. I agree some have quality traits. A foxbody is still goofy fun, but the value proposition gets lost as prices increase. I found the E46 M3 to be wildly overrated. It has a decent engine note....I smh at the Lexus LS models—the

I’ll take note not to exchange any notes for the Note.

One should also remember that not all collector vehicles should flatter themselves...they weren’t that great to begin with:

This is the correct take.

Solid review of car that should be on a lot of radars. I’d seriously consider one in a manual, but my question to the author is—would a manual in this be enough to sway you to buy one. Didn’t sound from the review that the lack of a manual was keeping you away as much as the heavy weight?

Bah! The media is going to have a field day with this one...

I think what they’re saying is the cost of the repairs reimbursed to the dealer or mechanic for their warranty work.

You reminded me of a corporate downsizing story:

I know this strip of road. Curvy and probably mostly empty at 3am. Not too far from the Plaza and Westport (KC nightlife/bar areas).  I can see why someone might be tempted to go fast along there for spirited driving. I might have done it myself once or twice back in the day, though not condoning it or the outcome.

how many miles were on it?  What did you pay new, and where did you sell?  My ‘17 GTI enjoyed a nice blip on Carvana for about a month, but I wasn’t interested in selling.  Now it’s *decent for a 4 year old with >40k miles

this needs more stars

I predict a huge dump in the RV/camper market in 1 year.

I think he was caught b/w swerving to hit the attacker or the door or just sneak through the middle. BOOM!

Obviously, if their numbers are up.  The question is why?  It’s not a troll comment, I just don’t see the brand appeal in 2021.

True...but they sell far more auto boxes

That’s probably BMW’s best model, but I doubt it’s a blip percentage of their sales

I would think affordability and fleet sales play into Nissan, whose pre-pandemic sales were shit anyway

Help me out here. BMW sales are up. Does BMW actually make desirable cars these days? I don’t see their appeal compared with the competition.

Mostly agree, but I think I can already cross off the gen 2 brz

Honda seems to be one manufacturer that listens to customer complaints/concerns. The pendulum swings and then the other side complains. I’ll say that in 20 years people will be going ape for the recent CTR b/c of its styling; there’s already plenty of folks saying they’ve warmed up to it.
