I was in between jobs and I drove for Uber for a while as an experiment. It is not a horrible job if you drive regular hours in a suburban setting, but you cannot make any more than McDonald’s wages.
FYI: In many areas of the country surges have largely disappeared making matters worse.

And unlike motorcycles, there are no brakes. We’ve seen a dozen gruesome collisions and/or near misses (buoys, docks, boats, even water skiers) at our lake house over the years. Even non-racing models can go 70 mph+.

This, of course, is and will remain to be, the biggest obstacle to the widespread adaptation of electric cars. Most people are not going to go out of their way 5o miles and sit around for hours for a recharge. It ain’t going to happen.

Based on the EPA’s track record of mileage ratings, this means that the Bolt will have 150 miles of range in real world driving.
