I agree, watched the episode and Gran Fury was what came to mind.

Dude!
Can we call this a “Faux Hook”?
When my wife’s Dart got stuck in her parents unplowed driveway I was hoping I could just screw and anchor into the tow point and pull it our with my truck. I guess Sergio told them to put the access in the bumper cover, but once you pull that off, just a solid aluminum bumper underneath, no threads. Add in full…
I get it because people react the same way to my minivan, nobody wants to get behind you at a light, and everyone has to get past you or they have to speed up.
Do you replace the calipers every time you do a brake job also?
I used to get all worked up and had a few finger waving, lane weaving, brake checking sessions as a result.
Pontiac Solstice for $17/day right down the street from me sounds ok for a summer day. Also a Fiesta ST for $42/day I’d consider because it’s on my list of next daily drivers and what better way to test drive one.
A rag and a little thinner would probably work just fine too
The rear drums on those old Chevy’s never self adjust correctly so usually they barely work. Throw in a Quadrajet carb with a high idle and unless you have the forethought to pop it into neutral it’s going to keep on rolling when it gets slick out.
Yep, looks like 294.
Check your local Home Depot, I purchased the same set there for $10 last week.

GT = Good Traction?
My 05 Ram 2500 has the capability of having a pto added. The G-56 trans has a cover on either side that can be removed for PTO accessories and the trucks software can be updated to support a PTO (allows you to use the cruise control buttons to control engine RPM for running the PTO accessories).
We pulled a 47 CJ2A out of the woods in Central WI, it had the rear pto option and had been used as a utility vehicle on a small farm most of it’s life. A good portion of that time was spent with no brakes and the owner would just roll it into a tree to stop. It survived a tornado that destroyed the cat bulldozer…
4wd = stuck twice as far off the road than 2wd
Open hood and handprints on the decklid from pushing are tell-tale signs of an Oldsmobile diesel.
A friend had a similar repair done through her insurance back in the late 90's on a 95 Dodge Stratus. Hers was hood/roof/windshield and the car was not totalled out. Only issue was the body shop never bothered to try and clean out the HVAC system. First time the defrost was used it blew tons of tiny glass shards…
It’s cool, but the rope looks like a redneck repair to keep the hood shut or the bumper from falling down.
