A wankel into a Corvette. Just like Zora intended. My friend is an RX-7 nut and we have pondered this many times. Our preferred recipe involves a four rotor and a third gen Vette... with one side pipe.

Please build it! Please, please please! This is the kind of ridiculous truck I've wanted. Hopefully I'll figure out a way to afford one. OK, probably not, but it's nice to pretend.

@GreenN_Gold: Best not, the 360 has enough of a propensity to die unexplainably already.

@mcryder: I come from a military family. The only reason I did not join myself is because my mother is disabled and I needed to be home to support/take care of her and my much younger sister.

@IN THE FACE!: It's all good, I didn't really think you were criticizing. I was just adding my 2 cents.

@IN THE FACE!: I have a feeling it has a good bit of go, considering the funny car style cage that is peeking at us. Not too many would go through the hassle of one if it wasn't needed.

@Uncle Spiegel Fester: More like the rest of McD menu. The McRib has not changed much over the years.

So is it one point for commenting on Jalopnik as opposed to just reading, or is it one point for each comment?

@Alfisted: Whoa, that is awesome. It's like a beer doughnut.

@Alfisted: I'd like know what, exactly, is fried beer? How do you fry beer, wouldn't it just boil off? Sounds unhealthy/awesome. We need to know!

Those wheels look like giant shower drains. That is all.

Porsche GT3 RS - €122,400

Mmmmm, inside secrets. Me likes. Welcome aboard.

@dolo54 blows minds and blows engines!: The fuel cell was mounted in the trunk, so they did need access. Also, one of the rules of aerodynamics is the wing needs to mounted in the cleanest air possible. With the crappy roofline aero that meant up high.

@7ruthslayer: Actually, the uprights go through the fender and mount to the frame. They designed it to handle some ridiculous amount of downforce, like a 1000 lbs, or something like that. I once saw a whole family sitting on one for pic.

What sad news to us vintage racing fans, and of course his family. My condolences to his family and friends. May he race on in the great beyond.

@subframespacer: Actually, out gassing is pretty much non-existent with modern pads. The main reason for slots now is just for cleaning purposes. And it really doesn't matter which way the slots go, it is manufacturer preference. I only knew that this set up was correct because I have a Baer system myself. And cross

That would be the correct way, counter intuitive, I know, but correct none the less.

Of course this might get you the wrong kind of attention, so.....maybe not a good idea.
