Matt Ryan has turned a turn on a one-season NBC show into (1) guest spots in the Arrowverse; (2) a series regular on Legends of Tomorrow; (3) starring in the DCAU Justice League Dark movies; and (4) an animated series ... WHY STOP NOW.

Beatrice is great, and Camilla is adorable (she has one of the best scene entrances in the whole season), and Lilith... has potential. She’s way more interesting to me by the end of the season.

I ended up really liking this show, but my biggest critique is that it could have taken half as long to get where it was going. The cliffhanger at the end also feels a bit more like daring Netflix not to give them a second season.

I was about to say. Cyborg was great in season 3 of Young Justice. Especially as an opposite to Halo.

May that’s the long term plan? Who knows.

Only in the most roundabout way, in my experience. As in “cotton plantations needed slaves, and the states wanted to protect their economies.”

I grew up in Texas, and I cannot overstate how hard they sold the “states’ rights” bullshit in school.

I nearly spit tea all over my laptop when he said that.

Given the Supernatural shout out earlier this season, I feel it’s necessary to point out that the fifth season finale of that show was called “Swan Song.”

The video/game with the sound on in a waiting room is terrible on its own, but, for some reason, leaving the typing sound effects, etc. on is worse to me. It’s like Jesus Christ, not even the bare minimum of courtesy.

Oh, for fuck’s sake.

Still boggles my mind that someone green-lit that. But that can be said of a lot of the DCEU.

Desperation and Quibi are practically synonymous now. What a thing to design a streaming service tailor made for commutes only for commuting to disappear.

Stoked to see this, and I’ve been wondering if drive-ins might have a resurgence in This Age of COVID.

Young Justice used Granny Goodness very well in its third season, I think. She’s a great villain.

Character Actress Margo Martindale would crush Granny Goodness. She’d be so good.

I have faith that Legends writers could cook up something good. Especially since the songs so far have been originals, not covers. I guess I’m thinking more Buffy than Magicians?

When Behrad said “Wait, where’s my Zari?” and John said “Took the words right out of my mouth, mate.” I was weirdly happy.

I need a full-on musical episode next season. C’mon, y’all - WTFN.

Honestly, I’m just stoked for a brother/sister dynamic within the “found family” dynamic that is the Legends at large. I think it would be more interesting with Zari 2.0 because she clearly has resentment issues toward her brother (obvi, she loves him and went through Hell [literally] to bring him back), and their
