I don’t really care either way, I’m not in the market for a 7 Series, but BMW is certainly capable of pretty. Not lately, maybe, but they’ve done it before.

I’ve said it before, these cars don’t have to be pretty, they just have to make the owner look successful. But it would be nice if they looked pretty.

I don’t understand why these cameras need to connect to the cloud at all. Why can’t it just stream over my local network to another wifi device within my house that records on a hard drive or flash memory card? Same deal with it sending an alert to my smartphone - why is the cloud required for that?

Hopefully the engineers will be preoccupied with whether or not they can, stop to think if they should, and then do it anyway.
