Sometimes I want to be able to just say, “I’m checking an email” and for that, portrait mode is a freaking gem.

I would hope a white woman would be arrested in a similar situation. Though, sadly, I have to concede it’s possible that she wouldn’t. (I expect it wouldn’t be all that hard to find domestic disturbance cases where the white woman WAS charged for vandalizing the guys truck in retribution though.)

You may want to learn how to quote. Neither statistic you cites supports your conclusion of:

over merely having a private email server

1. Chucking a jump battery through a car window after an altercation isn’t self defense. (particularly as the vehicle in question doesn’t seem to be anywhere near where the altercation took place, as it isn’t captured in the video)

Not really, you’re concerned about the semantics of the phrasing. Deputy chief used “afford” where he should have probably used “recognize”.  *shrug*.

Ah Trumpy tonics. Part of the Trueshot Longbow quest. I was playing pretty much as a pure crafter and leveled up to ~30 (I think?) by the time I quit doing nothing but that one quest in order to sell the bow.

I vaguely seem to remember even melee characters had more interactive moves than simply using autoattack. I want to say a kick or a bash that, while used on cooldown could sort of increase your DPS, were really intended as a reactive way to interrupt enemy casting?

IIRC the issue was:

Bad. Ignoring her crime (and it is a crime) completely sends the wrong message that vigilante justice/revenge is acceptable.  For obvious reasons we as a society shouldn’t want victims being judge, jury, and executioner.  And punishment for a crime is less about the people involved than it is about attempting to

Whelp, looks like the DA fucked up and dismissed the charges. It should be up the the people to use Jury Nullification to avoid punishing the lady if that’s what seems right. The government should at least pretend that vigilante justice is still undesirable.

Aggressor doesn’t matter. She broke his rear windshield after the fact which is 100% illegal retaliation. There’s no “self defense” there.

It’s one thing to go 5mph over the speed limit.

Uh huh.

Fans have speculated endlessly as to how Anthem went so awry

I would assume next time around they’ll break for a few hours now and then for people to go home/sleep/shower. Or like 3 per night leading up to the final new one.

Hence the “thinking about doing” send in some sample shots.

Occam’s razor isn’t mental gymnastics. The most obvious explanation is probably the correct one. And that would be her just thinking it’s just another posed photo like the hundreds (or thousands?) of others.

Presumably Smollet was charged for each time he (allegedly?) lied to police, racking up a total of 16 charges as the fiasco kept going.

And for those keeping track at home, they told Kobe he couldn’t have braids but told Kerion he could if he got rid of his dreads.
