Not a chance in hell. MS won’t get rid of people who are actively trying to further AI, not with Google and Facebook doing the same. Even if MS gave them a pink slip, G&F would be right there offering them a job.

Well in fairness pretty soon Gawker and its subsidiaries will be a desiccated corpse as it is bled dry.

I HATE bottom headphone jacks. The Vita does, my cell phone does it, it’s so aggrivating to have a headphone cable plugged in and have it bending because you’re leaning the device against your body or any other place it could bend the cable.

As someone who just went through some network certifications, I find the whole IPv4 > IPv6 transition fascinating. Actually networking in general is.

Makes sense :) I’m with you now

Have they fixed the stupid issue of the lightning cables twisting and breaking so often? A couple friends and I went through nearly half a dozen cables after they first came out because they twisted so badly from the ability to plug in from either direction.

Aren’t there a lot of things though that are able to be offloaded to the GPU for incredibly faster processing? I’m thinking (less home use) things like the folding @ home processes that run faster using the GPU for calculations.

Totally read #8 in the Mark Hamill’s Joker voice

I think for the relatively near future greater computer efficiency yields will come from the GPU/RAM/SSD vs the CPU. I’ve upgraded GPUs and RAM multiple times on one computer, still rocking a first generation core i7 and it runs plenty fast. The bottleneck seems to be in the GPU/RAM/SSD.

Some poor, security clearance laden intern is going to spend the next 3 weeks typing “0000, 0001, 0002 ... 0009" then resetting the NAND, “0010, 0011...” and on and on

“Hey FBI - Did you try turning it off and back on again?”

I hate the fact that our social media driven society is so hell bent on posting the next big video that it is done so with no regards to the person they are filming.

Stellaris and HOI 4....May/June is going to be an amazing couple of months.

The answer is 42. It’s always 42.

Well obviously this is because the glaciers and permafrost are melting, exposing more things like methane pockets and other greenhouse gasses.

Do you guys have a list of sorts of your recommendation for book series? I love fantasy and sci fi and want to break into some new series of books, but I don’t know where to start.

Nah, that’s just the way they teach it at the William Shatner Academy of OverActing.

I hate the fact you guys are taking so long on Black Mirror but love the fact that they are so well done they are worth the wait.
