Grandstand at Turn 1 is a good spot! I went for ‘13 and ‘14 and was at Turn 1 both times, lots of action there!

Even though I hate doing it, I have to deal with MD drivers daily so I have a the “25 second rule” which works thusly: if the left lane camper has plenty of room to move to the next lane right, I do a 25 second count. By the end of the count if the camper hasn’t moved over, I’ll pass them on the right in the opening…

IMO Supercharging is the only option for the MX-5 (if it’s not exclusively a track toy). Yea, it’s less efficient but you need that power to kick in right away unless you’re ok spending all of your time above 5k rpm
