Committing murder over any car seems stupid, but a Chevy?

And yet...there you are.
Jesus, I wish I could be as hardcore as you. BTW, do you own any TAPOUT shirts I could borrow? Because I suspect that you do.
Especially it the driver were a woman! That would show the world even more how tough you are!
Hopefully you live in Florida where stupid stuff like that is ok.
I mean, I have a developmental disability and the R word was thrown around a lot when I was diagnosed as a kid, but I didn’t storm the capital and threaten lawmakers, so perhaps these people are just assholes.
I feel so bad for all of the great engineers that work at these electric startups. They’re either haunted by asshole CEOs that promise things that can’t be delivered or.... wait, no, that’s it. That’s what all of them do.
So I should wait on putting my deposit down?
Ditto-ish (I would get the truck) but no way this makes it to production
It’s different, which is always good in my book. But when function comes first in a design, you get weird ass things like this. I for one think it’s awesome. But I also need a people mover and I’m tired of mini vans & big SUVs.
Calling AOC a “terrorist” while supporting insurrectionists and treason is RICH. If something happens to AOC...and I’m being dead serious here, arrest this troglodyte on the spot. She’s doing the exact same shit she did to a teen who survived school shooting.
I know multiple people not going back to the restaurant industry because they got so royally screwed over at the beginning of the pandemic. When you stole 2 weeks of wages from your staff before laying them all off with no notice last May, don’t be shocked that they’re not lining up to work for you again this May.
There’s a certain kind of person who thinks “but I want it!” should persuade everyone else to do what they want. They’re unwilling or unable to understand that other people see the world differently. Emotionally, they got stuck at age three.
Yeah, the person who wants $16/hr being called "greedy" by the people making 6 figures. Hmmm...
I feel like since these people felt it was necessary to whine to the media in the first place they must be truly terrible bosses.
In food at least, a lot of business owners feel like everyone owes them cheap labor because the business was “their dream”. I had someone offer me $14/hr for an exec chef position, to which I replied “Lol, no.” and informed her that anyone actually qualified wouldn’t work for that rate. She cried that opening the…
Cry me a river. This labor reckoning is delicious. I’ve been working (on the books) since I was 16. It wasn’t until I was in my mid-thirties (8 different jobs) that I earned something approximating a comfortable wage, and I’m one of the lucky ones! Pay up, suckers.
While a lot commenters here are talking about low wages being the problem I’m also wondering if the mangers/owners attitudes are also the problem. The interview is supposed to work both ways the applicant is supposed to get a feel for the bosses so maybe they are getting a bad feeling up front.
I used to work at a trade association, and the CEO was such a tight ass. He refused to adjust the receptionist’s salary: $27k in 2001. He was convinced the position was overpaid even though this was in DC and he required a college degree for the job.
