i watched this purely because of Carey Mulligan, and she was so good in it. Even when i didn’t like all of the film, she was awesome throughout.

Promising Young Woman is further proof that Mulligan is one of the best actors working today. She’s absolutely dynamic and completely owns her character. Those subtle shifts she makes in her performance are a joy to watch.

As an old man over 40 who only recently got an Instagram account, where I post very boring pictures, I have to ask, who is the secret Instagram account for? Like he has a bunch of friends who want to see these posts about fucking and drugging and shit? Is that common? 

Carey and her portrayal of Cassie elevated her character into the all-timer pantheon of classic cinematic characters. I can’t wait until more of the mainstream public gets to see this. She’s going to get embraced by the pop culture, like no other.

Carey Mulligan is FANTASTIC in this movie. I’d been dying to see it since the trailer launched - and I’m so glad I did. I’ve not been able to get this movie out of my head. It deserves ALL the accolades.

Who does WB think is going to sit though a 4-hour slog of a movie that their current President says is one giant plot cul-de-sac? The only people I can think of are the diehard Snyder fans and that’s about it.
