Great interview! Tommy Davidson is a genuinely cool dude. He stopped by the TV station I worked at years ago and hung out with everyone and told stories of working on In Living Color. His “pick it up!” chef character as well as playing the guy who always ended up with Wanda are still freaking hilarious.

Oh man, The Nude Bomb...and it was rated PG!

My dad was the same, he made sure we saw it on the biggest screen possible. We got to the theater a bit late and would have missed the first 5 minutes, so he took us to an arcade to pass the time until the next showing so we wouldn’t miss anything. My 12-year-old self was sooo happy. RIP, dad.

Aye, now they all have that brutalist architecture, nothing fun or joyful about it. Bring back the colors! And get off my lawn!

Agreed, they definitely cut the drying time down for me.

The sheets are awesome! Especially for scrubbing around the nooks & crannies of kitchen and bathroom faucets.

Agreed about No Man’s Sky, it’s gotten so much better since the 2016 release. Always fun to lose a few hours building a base or just zipping around the galaxy exploring stuff!

That’s awesome. I saw something similar done in Liberia years ago, some guys rigged a T-shaped antenna from a bamboo pole, a fluorescent light tube, and some copper wire. We were able to watch the World Cup out in the sticks with a TV and generator. One of my favorite memories.

That book is a must-have! They had to sell you on imagination for many of the games, and that artwork was the key. Especially for us kids back then, what a great time to be alive.

This, 100%! KFC is also big in China with different menu options from what I’ve heard. Haven’t been yet, but would totally go try it!

Right? I expected a recipe! Wonder if they taste like chicken...

Any opportunity, huh?

The Farewell was a pleasantly surprising story with an unexpected (but welcome) ending. Worth a watch!

Aye, I’m 51 and the parents watched Sha Na Na’s TV show every week and loved it, no doubt having flashbacks to youth.

Brilliant :D

Yeah, dishes like that are best eaten as an occasional treat, haha. It’s definitely a great idea for an omelette!

I can’t wait to try this, thanks for sharing! Also, thanks for mentioning Gail’s, I will try to stop by there next time I am in the area. The Google reviews are phenomenal, there is a photo of the spud omelette and it looks really good!

Same here, haha!! Those first synth notes...ugh. Thankfully my car has a station-changing button right on the steering wheel, so I save a few precious seconds of sanity.

That was great! An all-time favorite, I saw The Thing at a drive-in 1982 and mind = blown. Those practical effects are still amazing all these years later, it must have been a crazy shoot for that back in the day.

This is a great article and very important information. I was shooting B-roll video out the window of a cab in Monrovia, Liberia a few years ago. We happened to stop at a corner, where a police officer was standing. He saw me and my camera inadvertently aimed at him and went ballistic. “Why are you filming me?!” Next
