Nice! I have a 4790K that’s held up nicely with pretty much everything I’ve thrown at it, but for 10 years before this rig I had an AMD one...I agree about the CPU tech not changing that much and that AMD might be the way to go again for the next one! Are you thinking they’ll have the edge over Intel’s offerings?…

Thanks for that info, I have almost exactly the same setup built in 2014 and am in the process of upgrading whatever I can...SSDs have been awesome of course, as has the 1070ti upgrade from a 780. Smart move to grab the 3060, wish I’d done that! At least our rigs are still chugging along.
