Sure they are, when they disagree with what the president wants. That’s how it works and why we have 3 branches of government instead of a dictatorship. If the parties and positions were reversed, you’d agree 100%.

Those numbers were the same or even worse when the Dems controlled Congress, matters nothing. The fact that they were spanked in 2010 and 2014 and lost both houses is proof their policies have been rejected by a majority of Americans.
By “do their job” you mean just agree with everything the president wants, correct? Shouldn’t the president also do his job and work with Congress, or is he an all-knowing Sith lord who can never be wrong? They were “elected” by their constituents to do many jobs, not just hand everything over to Dear Leader.
We get signal!
Yep, same here. Waze is especially great when you’re heading somewhere via freeways!
Straight up. I spent entire allowances at arcades back then, and was a master at Defender and Gorf :D What a great time to be a teenager that was.
Oh man, I had one of those Force Beam glorified flashlights! Saw the commercial on TV for it right after seeing Star Wars, 9-year-old mind = blown. All you could do was wave them around, way too flimsy for any real imaginary lightsaber duels.
You know, I didn’t even notice the original date you posted that! LH re-ran this article for the new year and that’s how I found it, haha. Thank you for the update and tips! Sounds like you have a great system working and I will be trying your suggestions as I also live alone and have similar snacking tendencies :D…
Somehow I managed to convince my parents to take me and a buddy to go see An American Werewolf in London in 1981. We were 11 and 12. There was much cringing indeed.
That’s what gets me as well, not planning ahead and then regretting it later. Usually ends with a fast-food stop on the way home or something, not good.
Came here for this and was not disappointed :D That movie freaked me out as a kid in the 70s. I seem to recall an epic battle scene between a praying mantis and those murderous ants, which was cool.
Exactly. With all of the Apple products he was eager to mention.
Great story! I also remember using the computer systems back then, amazing how far things have come.
OBLIGATORY:
Ace Ventura: Origins. Allllllrighty then!
Well said!
Plus Richard Moll as a cyclops. Gold!
I concur wholeheartedly :D
Mine are the same, just crammed with people and details and backstory. You’re right about the memory aspect, it does often feel like someone loaded my brain Matrix-style with someone else’s life or something to that effect. Very cool, there’s just so much to them and I often remember more details days later.
Yeah! He was definitely too stupid and blindsided by being on a science fiction show set. #youdumbass
