I have a subscription to newspapers.com for that very reason. I’ve found tons of articles as well as mentions of family members for genealogical research, plus you can create and save PDF clips from the scanned pages.
Any “Honest to Allah” delights?
Agreed! Always loved the work that went into the packaging of the games back then. Hands down my favorite were the Ultima games, which included a cloth map, spell books with original art, and a metal trinket. Good times.
TravelHalo looks awesome, thank you for that link!
Two words: Damon Lindelof.
Was that host Milli or Vanilli?
Why do you need to use offensive words in the title and within your article, Rob? Not trolling, I genuinely want to know the need for that kind of thing when you can just as easily leave it out.
I’m pretty sure Leia’s wardrobe doesn’t contain any pantsuits, so we’re safe.
One of the things that’s great about Waze is the downloadable voice options. When Terminator: Genysis came out, they had Arnold provide the Waze voice (if you so chose) and it was awesome. “Incident reported ahead, GET DOWUN!”
+1 for “lollygag.”
I thought the same thing :D But it was still fun to watch, looked like they were having fun.
Young Russell Crowe?
Republicans Bill Clinton, still treating women like objects.
Styles should have died a horrible death, and Scotty knew it. What an entitled, untested little twit.
I still laugh at that! Especially when you place it in the context of the 80s, when many of us thought we’d die at any moment from Soviet nukes.
It was because you had to manage bases across the solar system, and then find a way to terraform Earth to be habitable again. One of the cool features was that some of the planets and moons you established bases on would produce mutations, and eventually one or more would declare independence and attack you :D
True story: My dad didn’t leave to pick up my mom for dates in the 60s until Star Trek was over. His love for TOS was passed into my own DNA I believe...some very first memories are of watching it with him while sitting on the couch and being terrified by the Gorn. And what boy didn’t want to be Kirk back in the day?!
Same here, I used to play an awesome game called Millennium 2.2 on my Atari ST that was very similar to this but you could build bases all over the solar system.
YES, this. Always loved that design, let’s hope they trash the current version and build this one.
