Don’t you blaspheme! Don’t you blaspheme in here! #bluesbrothers

Oh, gettin’ under your nerves so easily, eh? Such a brainwashed believer, hahahaha. Tell us all in exacting detail what you are doing as a global citizen who is polluting the planet and how you personally are cutting your own carbon emissions to make the world a better place for plants. Do it. DOOO EEET!
That would include Obama, who still can’t utter the words “Islamic extremist” when people are beheaded on a nice, beautiful beach. Is he reality impaired, too?
Yeah! Let’s do the same for Islamic extremist terrorists, which Obama still can’t bring himself to identify as such. He’s an idiot and we should just ignore him, right?
You mean the same way Obama refuses to call Islamic extremist terrorists Islamic extremist terrorists? Yeah, what an idiot he is by your logic. #facepalm
Same here! I got to meet and have lunch with Clyde Tombaugh in 1985, and completely star-struck (so to speak). I sure wish he’d have been able to see imagery like this.
Terrific article! Kirk’s been my hero since the early 70s as a kid. Two lines from “Tomorrow is Yesterday” still crack me up to this day.
Aye, it deserves a reboot :D
Same here! Am going to try your approach, seems like a great idea.
Perhaps I’m wrong, but the top image seems to be inspired by the background of the old school Woolly Willy magnetic toys where you drag metal filaments onto a guy’s face. Seemed awesome at the time as a wee lad in the 70s...
I remember Starlog and Future, think I have the very first Future issue in fact. The universe was so much more mysterious back then, wasn’t it? What a great time to grow up.
I got to have lunch with Clyde Tombaugh in 1985, he was amazing to talk to. I was 17 and blown away by the legend I was sitting with. He signed my National Geographic space book which featured a photo of him at his personal observatory in Las Cruces :) Good memories.
Oh Katedamnit, this sucks.
This! It’s actually cool to see tracking visualized as well, you can also make it available to others to see your progress (or lack thereof) to keep you accountable.
I always buy a TON of toys, games, and crayons there when I travel to Liberia in Africa for missions work. The low prices mean more for the orphanage kids, which is awesome.
Anyone remember “Seeds of Life” from the Beyond the Mind’s Eye CG compilation in 1993?
Buy it for him.
That’s very cool! You’re right about that fluorescent green color, anything that glowed in the dark like that was gold growing up in the 70s.
