Garbage and total idiots. Happy employees = good employees. Micromanaged employees = shitty customer service, bad brand experience, less money for corporate.

IT’s not about black opps whatever. It’s about being treated like a human being, and keeping things in perspective. Retail workers get paid shit and get treated like shit. How about letting them clock in and out and maybe once and a while clock in for a friend who’s a few minutes late and can’t afford to lose her job,…
I used to work at The Gap back in the 90s and they did that back then. Thing is, it was really easy to get around. Just have your friend use the fitting room, throw in a few extra things, which she puts in her bag. Then she leaves, and you split the loot. Those stores treat employees like crap. IF they paid better and…
Wow. She is insufferable.
I feel you. She’s fine, but kind of bland. There are so many colorful, fun, talented actresses out there. I love the female lead in Now Apocalypse, Kelly Berglund. She’d be so good in this.
Or, in Elizabeth Moss’ case, how many are born into it but don’t actually believe in it? Can you be a cultural Scientologist like you can be a cultural Catholic or Jew? Everyone in my Catholic family uses birth control and has been divorced at least once. Personal beliefs often differ from the dogma of the religion…
Also agreed. I really liked Vicky Christina. For me he was always hit or miss, even in the 80s. Bullets Over Broadway and Interiors are my favorites, but I personally could do without Annie Hall. Maybe that’s just me. I generally don’t like the films that feature him as an actor.
“Sabrina has given them very vivid reason to think she’s now the most powerful figure in their church.”
Thank you! Couldn’t agree more. Laika movies are seriously lacking in the script department. They do not use real writers, or even people who have good understanding of narrative flow, let alone character development. Why?
Lots of people understand the urgency of climate change and yet they do nothing about it. They still drive cars every day, they still have more than two kids, they still buy shit from carbon-spewing factories, they still live in 4000 square foot homes. If you believe in climate change, change your habits. Vote with…
Where do you people see movies? I’ve encountered the kind of disturbance you describe maybe a handful of times in my life, and I go to the movies twice a month, on average. And I’m 47.
Oh me too. It sucks.
Yeah when I read “there are people in the world who think everything revolves around them” I was like, THE LETTER WRITER. Not poor Emily, who only after years of eating at places she didn’t like dared to ask her friends to go someplace she liked.
Her suggestions were downright cruel. I’m really surprised anyone is on board with telling Emily to stay at home. What an awful thing to do!
Also the Salty Waitress advice is so harsh. Leave Emily at home so you can eat “adventurous” food? Ditch your lifelong friend so you don’t have to see her eat a hamburger? WTF. That is some petty bullshit.
Childish is really fucking harsh. It’s just food, dude. Childish is not giving your lifelong friend the chance to pick a restaurant once in a while.
No she’s not complaining, she’s asking to go to a restaurant she likes. Big difference.
Totally. Team Emily here. I’m not a picky eater, but if all my friends wouldn’t even CONSIDER going to a restaurant of my choice, they wouldn’t be my friends.
Right? The first season was kind of a mess. But I like Ellen Page a lot, and the rest of the cast is decent. Lots of unexplored potential.
Other than the gospels, there is scant evidence that Jesus even existed. Even if he did exist, we can agree the rest is greatly exaggerated, if not completely fictionalized.
