The hard G people pronounce the “are you a robot” COPT-K-HA

That’s cute, given how Jughead was hearing impaired in the original screenplay of the pilot (which is why we mostly heard him through narration of his “book”). I was actually surprised when I saw the pilot at Comic-Con to find that that character trait was dropped (probably for the better, at least after casting a

You’re right, in my assumption our friends were paying in cash for a 300k vacation house.

Yup! Plus you now feel the obligation to HAVE to vacation there, instead of having the freedom to get a hotel/airbnb wherever and whenever you feel like.

For the type of person you’re describing, a vacation home while continuing to rent a primary residence isn’t tenable either, and again, if their long-term goal IS a forever home in their actual desired location, then I still think it’s a worse idea than just parking your cash in an index fund.

I will say, if you really can’t afford the downpayment/mortgage on your forever home, but desperately want to dip your feet in the market for fear of losing out, I would probably buy a total fixer upper and just have it slowly renovated while you continue living in your current place. Move in once it’s in a livable

I have two different couple friends that did this during the pandemic and I just couldn’t understand the value proposition, especially since I don’t think either of the couples are planning on renting it out.

I said this on the Tom Veitch article a few days ago, but as someone who got into Star Wars as a newly immigrated elementary school kid during this period, it definitely felt lonely to get into Star Wars. It was universally known (all the kids knew it and of the characters) but they were old and not trendy (X-men and

My first and only ever published fan letter was in Tom Veitch’s Empire’s End (the letter was absolutely FAWNING over Dark Empire II, to which Empire’s End was the sequel) as an 11 year old immigrant kid.

Here’s my take on what this movie felt like:

I’d like them to not be nugget shaped. Among the reasons I prefer boned fried chicken versus nuggets are the nooks and crannies that improve texture and (since there’s more surface area to season) increase flavor. Chicken fingers are slightly better.

I’m pretty sure that’s what they did with Rogue One and to this day Disney has never actually acknowledged it, because I’m pretty sure they think China will freak out if they do.

How did you get the ingredients for your from-scratch roast chicken? Did your maid shop for them for you? Cause if so you can probably just ask them to roast your chicken too, then you can drink even more.

Because I wanted to see if it could give me enough tips to make it worth it for me to do it myself. And after I read the article I’m still 99% sure I couldn’t do as good of a job as a Costco chicken and it would probably cost me double in price and double in time.

Just buy a roasted chicken for 5 bucks at costco.

I think they didn’t realize the hole they got themselves dug into by having him appear in Mando S2 looking like he did.

I really hope now that Boba’s done with his Bacta treatment he can finally be as badass as he’s always been (over)hyped to be. So far he’s looked sluggish and in-over-his-head, much more so than his age and weariness should suggest. I get that Temuera Morrison isn’t spry, but Boba’s also supposed to be cunning and

First appointment of the day is generally a good idea except when your doctor routinely comes in late. Bring a book or have your phone handy to answer emails, but don’t assume that just because you get there right when they open, that they’ll be able to see you immediately.

My question is, is it Really possible to get away with this? I guess maybe if the money’s immediately being offloaded internationally or there’s some dark web straight to bitcoin operation, otherwise this seems like the type of thing where if the perp stays in the US, they’ll get caught sooner or later.

It was just bad luck on Pixar’s part that they had 3 of Disney’s 4 kid movies during the pandemic. Encanto’s theatrical release was in that middle period when it looked like Delta was going down and 5-11 year olds could get vaccinated, and it was still only a month long and it didn’t perform particularly well.
